The Columbus Horn Group. Central Ohio’s premiere adult french horn ensemble. Established February 1998.

The  ensemble is composed of post-collegiate horn players from a wide variety of career fields.  The group began with eight members from the Columbus area and has grown to twenty dedicated musicians from across Central Ohio.

The CHG has performed at many events and venues including: The Good Old Summertime Community Band Festival at the Ohio Village, The Ohio State Fair in the Cox Fine Arts Building, The Festival of Trees in the Columbus City Center Mall, Easton Town Center, Columbus Arts Festival and several churches in the Columbus area.

The CHG has three main goals: first, to provide an opportunity for members to participate in ensemble reading and performances; second, to promote interest in the french horn; and, third, to educate players at all levels of ability and experience.
